Explore Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park with Solitude One for a scuba diving trip unlike any other. A renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site and now an ASEAN Heritage Park, Tubbataha is a 130,028-hectare protected marine area situated in the middle of the Sulu Sea in the Palawan region of the Philippines. Embark on the majestic Solitude One and head out 150 kilometres away from the Port of Puerto Princessa, where nothing but clear blue waters and thousands of marine fauna await you.
Be led by Solitude’s team of experienced local dive guides as they take you through Tubbataha’s many beautiful dive sites. Mainly made up of walls and drop offs, the marine park’s dive sites – such as Delsan Wreck, Washing Machine, Shark Airport, and the world-famous Jessie Beazley Reef – are home to a colourful array of animals.
In addition to sea turtles, barracudas, jacks and reef sharks, you can look forward to encountering large pelagics like whale sharks, manta rays, the endangered bumphead wrasse, and even dolphins, if you’re really lucky! Tubbataha’s also well-known for its incredible visibility (in excess of 40m!) and extremely healthy reef systems so expect to see a dizzying amount of reef fish on every single dive.
